I am very proud to announce the completion of the short but sweet videogame that I properly named as NinthGame.

I’m studying Audiovisual and Multimedia and we were asked to do a short 3D movie for 3D Laboratory class and even though I would have loved to have made my own short movie, I decided I would learn more from focusing on my own videogame.

I then decided to make it a NinthGaming game that I could share with the NinthGaming organization and its supporters and as such it has become the official NinthGame.

The game was made using Blender 3d 2.47 which contains Bullet Physics and Python Language while the soundtrack was done with Reason 4.0, Adobe Audition 3.0 and Sony Sound Forge 9.0.

Within the game you can choose between Normal or Hard difficulties which offer a slightly different game experience. In the Normal setting you have to collect 6 items (NinthGaming boxes) hidden throughout the level so can gain entrance to the otherwise locked NinthGaming door atop of the mountain. In the Hard setting you will have to collect 9 items spread throughout different locations and the obstacles will be a little trickier to overcome as your car will also be downgraded in terms of speed and suspension.

Car Controls:

W – Gas
S – Brakes
A – Left
D – Right
Spacebar – Emergency brake
Left Shift – Nitrous
E – Super Nitrous

Camera controls:

Mouse Wheel Up – Front camera
Mouse Wheel Down – Back camera (tight)
Mouse Wheel Button – Back camera (regular)
Left Button – Left camera
Right Button – Right camera
R – Mountain camera (which you can move with your mouse, only on the Normal setting)

Game controls:

Tab – Go back to the main menu
Esc – Exit the game
Enter – Go back to the beginning of the map

The game is released as version 1.0 as I will keep making modifications in order to improve its playability and overall fun factor. Version 2.0 should come with a new level along with better presentation and playability. Any advice, suggestion, bug report and opinion will be deeply appreciated as I’m sure that any kind of feedback could prove fundamental towards the improvement of the game.
